Track Santa!

Tomorrow is Christmas. and i love this season! now after tomorrow i will be just fine if all that excess snow just melts and goes away. i am getting about tired of all this cold. plus, it makes getting around a hassle. okay, thats about everything, MERRY CHRISTMAS! AND HAVE A HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR! free babby jesus's for everyone!

Epic Metal/Celtic/Opera/Orchestra/Rap/Electronica/Alternive/Holiday!!!

Tis the season for many things. happy feelings, crystallized water falling from the sky, bringing trees into the house and covering them in silly items and lights. and my favorite one: the season of overplayed carols! i recently obtained from friends of mine at least one gig of various Christmas music. ranging from a Charlie brown Christmas to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra album. and of course i shall be playing these on loop all the way through till Christmas. but it isn't enough, my musical sweet tooth isn't satisfied, i want more, i have several different rock/holiday styles, now i want polka/Holiday, or Celtic/holiday/punk, or how about deathmetal/holiday/techno/symphony/opera? if it is this easy to mix genres and still keep the original song recognizable, why not just go all the way? i just love genre mixes! i also love Christmas music! don't you?

Zombies on a Plane

that was a video of world flight traffic over 24 hours. my first thought: hehe, this is what an attack by the zerg on earth would look like! and my second thought: omg... this explains why a zombie virus would be so terribly apocalyptic... i was always skeptic about the "worldwide infection". a zombie virus could not easily spread from one major landmass to another, because it would not be able to travel the sea. even the zombie survival guide didn't quite satisfy me with its explanation. but i can now definitely see how, with all the flights up at the same time at least a couple infected will manage to get across, and bring their terror with them. this gives me even more of an excuse to not feel stupid for having bludgeoning weapons near my bed. >:)

on a less apocalyptic note, this also explains why the us government freaked out about the "terrorist threat from the Sky's". i would have been scared too if i had known just how many flying suicide bombs where soaring above me. but i guess that is history, or at least it is no longer in our minds. but i am afraid the impacts on flight security may be permanent. gone are the times when a passenger was allowed to bring even a pair of nail clippers on board. now when preparing to board, i find myself afraid some guard is going to pull out rubber gloves. when it all started, shortly after that terrible day of September, i actually thought that the security and fear for safety on airlines would relax. boy was i wrong.seven years later, last summer, i took a trip to Germany. trying to board the plane, i was able to bring clothes, my laptop, a book, and very little else. at this point, people have stopped complaining, and just accepting it. unless something changes, this is just how it is going to be.

Maybe i could include ninjas...

i wanna know if i am an odd person, because in my spare time, during long car rides, and basically just whenever, i dream about superpowers. they are awesome. it is basically a way to keep my mind busy. i am sure it cant be that weird. on a seemingly unrelated point, i remember when the movie Cloverfeild came out, i thought that was a really cool way of filming. just puts you right into the action. now to connect the two subjects, a question: what if someone were to take the superhero theme (which has totally been thriving lately) and combine it with Cloverfeild style filming? something very marketable! all i would need is a good protagonist, and choose the superpowers! and the script. and some actors.... and well... basically it is just one of those cool ideas with little chance to fruit. on the other hand, why couldn't it work? i think i might just try to go write that. maybe i will go make some costumes. maybe i will get some actors together. maybe i will make a movie. definitely could be fun. so yea, that is my idea for today. now i really wanna know if anyone else daydreams about that as often as I...

The new guy

so, now, here i am, finally, overusing comas, learning the ropes of blogging, steping into the big ocean that is blogging and learning to swim. maybe, just maybe, if i butcher enough grammar, if i talk about the things that put people on edge, if i catch peoples attention, i could become famous. just like footwear. or i could just be another Joe smo using blogger thinking he is all that. i guess only time will tell. but to start, i think it best that i just end this here. maybe you will get a story or something fun next time, eh? maybe i could give this some direction?
